My life is a sad grey hue except for...

ReeseSticks

ReeseSticks. Only the best (cheap) chocolate existing. Brought to you by The Hershey Company.

I've also continued being a movie whore after the last post. Over the last seven days...

  1. ****(*) 13 going on 30: So true, so fun. How would you choose? Work or relationships?
  2. ****(*) The Bee Movie: very cute, very funny. I was probably PMS-ing for some time and then this godly thing cheered me up, brought laughs and good luck. :)
  3. ***(*)(*) Mutant Chronicles: Human vs alien beings bloody scenes and all that. But a nice (and depressing) projection into the future of earth.
  4. ***** Mamma Mia: I actually thought Pearce Brosnan sounded okay. But the girls, the girls were GODLY. It almost made me cry watching them sing so happily as I was reminiscing my old high school days singing with our girls' quartet. :(
  5. ***(*)(*) 1408: I couldn't continue watching it past 11.50pm last night. :P Was jumping in my seat from shock scenes and having my hands half-covering the screen half the time. Extremely depressing movie that made my life this afternoon a sad grey hue until ReeseSticks came to the rescue. Honestly, I didn't really understand the meaning of the movie.
  6. ***** Beijing Olympics 2008: Not a movie but definitely deserving a 5-star rating! GO NEW ZEALAND (and Australia, UK, Chinese Taipei)!

Next on the list: The Onion Movie, Wanted, The Dark Knight (hopefully). Will need to stock up on ReeseSticks tomorrow to save myself from more possibly-depressing movies.

Update: Reese's Butter Cups are good but I assure you all, ReeseSticks PWN Cups' ass.

They kind of look like Time Outs. o_O

Amanda Seyfried was so amazing! I was so surprised that she could actually sing (I think the Mean Girls role just influenced me forever). However, the men singing was really quite terrible. Every time The Firth opened his mouth and said "in the saynd" I cried. And Pierce's singing was equally as terrible.

Reese Buttercups are equally nice also! Though I haven't tried the sticks.. yet. :D

1408... I think I screamed/shrieked in that movie... and hid behind my hands. Lol... and I saw it in the cinemas! Haha.

Hope beginning of second semester is going good for you! ;) :)

I've never seen Reeses Sticks before. In America, we only have the Reeses Cups. :( I remember watching 1408 in the movie theaters with my older brother and his friends and we were all cowering in our seats. Last week, I rented it again from Blockbuster but I couldn't continue watching it. I'm usually fairly good at not getting scared by horror movies, but 1408 is... EVILLLLLL. An evil room... as well as an evil movie. :P

I didn't really like 1408, it was... weird for me. And I agree, the Beijing Olympics are amazing!

13 going on 30 was really cute.

OMG OLYMPICS WERE AWESOME haha... some twitter described the tai chi portion as "it all looked like an angry bioluminescent squid fight".

I *LOVED* Bee Movie! It was so cute and funny and it was a Seinfeld bee, what can I say? :D

I know I watched 13 Going On 30 a while back, and while I can't remember what went on in the movie, I'll choose relationships over work any day, even if I don't admit it out loud, because I'm immature and idealistic like that :P

I remember when ReeseSticks were new, or at least new to me, which was like... 7-8 years ago? I loved them! They are quite good, but it depends one what I'm craving when it comes to whether they are better than the Peanut Butter Cups. Both are quite yummy.

Out of those, I've only seen 1408 and [part of] the Olympics. 1408 was... pretty weird. That's all I can say about it, lol. It wasn't -really- scary, in my opinion, but it was... odd. Lol. And the Olympics Opening Ceremony was beautiful and breathtaking, from what I saw of it. Really amazing. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

"Beijing Olympics 2008" - lmao! I just found it so funny that's on the 'movie' list. I haven't actually watched any of the Olympics yet, except for a bit of the opening ceremony. Kids painting on big paper, people flying around a big ball, lights everywhere yadda yadda lol. I've been hearing heaps about it, but somehow it just hasn't really caught my interest much =( The only thing that I've discussed about the olympics is the smog LOL.

I've never heard of Reese sticks... actually, it's hard to get any Hershey products here in Australia. Oh how much we miss out lol. I hope you're doing some chair-dips or at least tensing your butt or something every once in a while, so you won't melt into your chair in a big pool of chocolate-induced fat lmao =P it sounds like your still in for a lot more movie whore-ness, enjoy!

Jess: I've been working myself dead at the gym for these ReeseSticks. :(

    These "Reese Sticks" look like peanut butter versions of Kit-Kat bars. Actually, they probably are. o_O;

And I agree, the Olympics deserves five stars. It's quite entertaining, even for non-sports fans such as myself.

Olympics ftw :D China is brilliant to have come up with the whole thing. Pity that my country was well, excluded because of unforeseen circumstances.

We don't have any ReeseSticks here, but we've got others. I love love love Cadbury and Fox's Viennese Biscuits :D

I LOVED Mamma Mia! It was so cute. And the daughter had the most amazing voice. And 13 Going on 30 is a cute movie, too. :)

haha anyway, the reason I am commenting is to ask you a question! I absolutely love your website and design. I have been looking all day for design sites and have found no good ones on the web thus far. I am the owner of a message board and am in need of new themes.. the only problem is I work two jobs and have no time!

I was wondering if I could possibly pay you to make a couple of themes for us? Just the images - I would do everything else. I would provide pictures if you wanted - if not I can just tell you some general things I would like and you can do what you'd like! I have Paypal so it would be safe and easy. I know it's a little weird a stranger asking you do that, but I have found no good graphics sites and I have been looking through all of these directories. :( Your site popped up though, and I like your graphics!

Send me an email at Shara_Starr@hotmail.com or check out the MB (volatilemb.com). Thanks for considering!

    :) Laura

I wanna see Mamma Mia soooo baaaaaad! 13 Going On 30 was really cute, hehe. Gotta have those cute movies sometimes. :D I don't know if I could bring myself to watch 1408, eep! :O

Oooh I'm glad that you rated Mamma Mia really high. I've been wanting to see that but nobody wants to watch it with me, saying that it's lame. T__T I'll just wait until it's out on DVD.

Yes the Olympics have been soo addicting to me. I never watch volleyball before the olympics and now I'm hooked because they're all so good. The ball just keeps on going back and forth and just when you think a team is about to score, BAM, the other team saved. Ahhh.

I loved 13 Going on 30 and liked 1408. Those are the only movies I've seen on your list, and/but I agree with you!

I love peanut butter and chocolate~
